Rubric Law is delighted to welcome Asif Moghal to the team as Head of Real Estate.
Asif is a solicitor and brings with him an impressive 17 years’ experience in the field of commercial property real estate; having graduated from Cardiff University in 2006.
While Asif has experience in all aspects of real estate law and vast knowledge, Asif specialises in SIPP and SSAS pension fund transactions, property support for corporate transactions and acting on behalf of investors and occupiers.
Asif comments:
“I am delighted to have joined Rubric Law. The firm’s outlook and views on client service are well aligned with my own. The firm is an established boutique firm in the South West but is also on an exciting journey of growth and heading up the real estate department as part of that is a great opportunity. I’m looking forward to being part of that journey and working with the firm’s clients and contacts.”
Asif is known for his personable and proactive approach to getting deals and transactions across the line, as well as sharing the same values as Rubric, making him the perfect fit for the team.
Alongside these values, Asif shares Rubric’s mission to break the stereotype that has given law firms a bad reputation over the years. We’re referring to the frustration people often feel when it comes to poor communication between client and solicitor.
With this, Asif strives to maintain a clear and effective avenue of communication throughout each case; utilising our innovative Communications Charter, which keeps clients in the loop by:
- Sending a clear written outline of our services and fees before any work starts
- Outlining a communication plan, detailing how often you can expect to hear from us, how you want us to contact you, and which parts of the process you’d like to know more about
- Arranging regular updates with either your lead solicitor or a knowledgeable member of our team
- Answering any extra emails, calls, letters or messages within 24 hours
- Getting in touch with you ASAP if there are any issues or changes in your case
High profile case
Asif’s experience means that he is often involved in interesting cases. Asif recently led upon, the acquisition of The Dock, a former Marstons Brains pub in Cardiff Bay, which was picked up by Lawyer Monthly.
Asif acted for an established client in the hospitality sector and was able to ensure that the deal was completed promptly, allowing a popular and substantial bar to be re-opened and serve the city again.
James Howell, Managing Director of Rubric Law said:
“Asif has made an immediately positive impact on our firm. He is one of those rare lawyers who has both a keen understanding of the law and a commercial understanding of business. He can see the detail and the bigger picture, and that stands him out from his peers. We’re delighted to have him on our leadership team and running our real estate department.”
Please join us in welcoming Asif to Rubric Law. We are excited to see what the future holds.
