Professional Experience

I qualified as a solicitor in 2023 after completing my training contact at a boutique real estate firm in London. Before qualifying I worked as a property paralegal, which gave me a strong grounding in my technical and transaction management skills.

My work includes drafting and negotiating a wide range of transaction documents, carrying out due diligence on freehold and leasehold transactions, including coordinating title reviews, searches and enquiries to support a smooth and efficient completion of a transaction.

I also advise on property matters pertaining to the corporate sale or acquisition of businesses.

Career Highlights

Over recent years I have advised on a range of transactions and portfolio management matters. Highlights include:

  • Supporting institutional landlords, investors and pension funds with the ongoing asset management of commercial property portfolios across the UK, ensuring smooth day-to-day management and long-term value growth.
  • I have experience acting on strategic investment transactions involving retail, office, industrial and leisure assets, helping clients structure deals that align with their commercial goals.
  • I advise corporate occupiers on lease negotiations, relocations, lease renewals and regears, ensuring the terms they agree work for their business now and in the future.
  • I handle all aspects of commercial property acquisitions and disposals (freehold and leasehold), guiding clients through the process from heads of terms to completion.
  • I act for both landlords and tenants on the grant, renewal and variation of leases nationwide, including transactions with annual rents ranging from £50,000 to £250,000.
  • I recently advised a property investor on the acquisition of a mixed-use freehold property for £4 million.
  • I have experience in secured lending and refinancing of commercial property, acting for both borrowers and lenders.
