The challenge:

We have recently helped client FIRA Landscape Limited (“FIRA”) implement an EOT scheme, as they move into their next stage of growth and development.  FIRA is a nationally recognised team of designers with the focus of connecting people with their environment.

Key details and legal support:

Our instructions from FIRA were to draft and advise on the key document that would create and regulate the EOT scheme, the EOT trust deed. This was done with collaboration from FIRA’s accountant Chris Rich, who we thoroughly enjoyed working with to get this over the line.

We drafted and advised on the EOT trust deed, providing various strategic options for FIRA to consider as they encountered different points of consideration throughout the process. Our counsel helped guide them through what frameworks would be best for the outcomes they wanted to achieve.

The result:

Following some natural back and forth on structure, we helped finalise the document so FIRA could move forward with implementation.
